My mark for physics improved my almost 30 percent, I started getting 80 percent for tests and my

confidence increased. Furthermore, my final November exam results were 19 percent higher than

my June results. This was an incredible change considering that at the beginning of the year till I

joined MTPTC, my biggest problem was application of physics.

5. What were your results before joining us and after? Please we will be glad to know your June

exam results and your final results.

My June results were 48 percent and my November results were 62 percent

6. What did displease you the most when attending extra lessons within our centre?

Nothing displeased me.

7. What did you enjoy the most in attending extra lessons with us?

I enjoyed the small classed that allowed for students to get the adequate attention required to

increase their understanding and the atmosphere where students were encouraged to express any lack of understanding they had during the sessions, this allowed us to be very comfortable with our tutors who were patient and attentive.

8. How did you find the quality of services we provided to you?

The quality was truly of an unprecedented standard, truly remarkable.

9. How did you find the quality of tutors in charge of each subject?

The tutors were incredibly efficient and truly mastered their tutoring skills, their communication

with students was effortless and clear and their methods of engaging and explaining to students was something I wished our lecturers would consider doing themselves.

10.  Would you advise our services (providing extra lessons) to other students? If yes, when do you

think be the right moment  for them to start with us?

I would definitely advise and recommend these services to students most crucially at the commencement of their studies during registration because often when entering university we do not know what to expect and therefore cannot make effective contingency plans that assist us to maintain the pass mark for difficult subjects and because we do not know where or how to get help, we struggle and fail and lose all faith. More students need to be armed with the knowledge that there is a place where you can go and get the help you deserve at an affordable price.

11.  What can you say to Faculty of Health Sciences Responsible about this scheme organized for

you and for junior students to come next year?

I want to urge the faculty to continue with this initiative because it has made a large difference in

many students lives and this will produce a return on their investment with good results, as seen from last year. I also want to thank the faculty to making the effort to provide us with help in order to make our transition through first year, more comfortable and slightly less stressful.

12.  Do you think that this scheme can be extended to other faculties/universities?

Definitely. Health Sciences isn’t the only faculty where students struggle, the Engineering and

Sciences faculty should also consider investing in these initiatives because then students can pass better.

13.  Any other comment or say?

I would just like to thank MTPTC for helping me come closer to my dream of being a doctor. Physics was my big hurdle that stood in the way of that dream and it is with their help that I conquered

and achieved my dream. I truly do not know what I would have done had it not been for Dr. Moise and his excellent team of tutors and administrators. So I thank you all with my sincerest gratitude.
